Main Tasks and Key Responsibilities
- Prepare all production materials for the bottling lines (capsules/tablets, bottles, caps, desiccant, wadding, labels, documents, etc.).
- Carry out several checks before bottling lines start their production (count the number of capsules/tablets per bottle, caps, bottle format, lot numbers, etc.).
- Carry out various checks at the end of bottling process (check and count the finished product bottles, lot number and other information from the production order, count the number of bottles on the pallets, etc.).
- Enter all material movements into the inventory system (WMS) and keep the inventory up to date.
- Run semi-automatic bottling lines.
- Do boxing, labelling, samples, tea bags, or other duties depending on the needs and priorities of the department.
- Check and store label rolls after releases.
- Complete production documentation related to bottling.
- Follow good manufacturing practices and comply with quality standards.
- Train new employees as needed.
- All other tasks related to production or manufacturing.
Required Competences and Skills
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or food industry an asset (production or manufacturing).
- Meticulous, organized, precise and detail oriented.
- Autonomous, able to tackle tasks to be done and able to assess priorities.
- Ability to work in a team and be able to carry out manual tasks.
- Ability to read and write French (English would be an asset).
- Strong aptitude for mental arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Be able to walk regularly, work standing, climb a two (2) stepladder, bend, squat, and occasionally lift and move loads between 20 to 30 pounds.
Education
Have a high school diploma.
Schedule
Monday to Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
*Training: 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
40 hours / week - Full-time permanent position
