Main Tasks and Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure label compliance according to Regulatory Affairs:
  • Create internal label print requests;
  • Request and verify label changes in collaboration with graphic designers;
  • Check label compliance with formulas and licenses;
  • Prepare label text;
  • Communicate with various clients regarding label changes and required specifications;
  • Submit labels to organic certification organizations for approval;
  • Perform cost analyses;
  • Carry out any other tasks related to packaging and labeling;
  • Support the Regulatory Affairs group and product development:
  • Conduct scientific, regulatory, and competitive research;
  • Write, edit, and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to regulations;
  • Establish specifications;
  • Create new codes;
  • Learn to navigate the different requirements of each commercial region;
  • Submit and verify government applications;
  • Work with the marketing team to improve and ensure compliance of our social media.

Required Competences and Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English (English is required due to presence across Canada and internationally);
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to manage multiple files simultaneously;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel);
  • Strong team spirit, adaptability, and autonomy;
  • Reading knowledge of German and Spanish is an asset.

Education

One (1) to two (2) years of experience in a similar role; College diploma (DEC) in sciences.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. – (40 hours per week / in‑person )
Permanent, full-time position
On-site – 3405 F.-X.-Tessier Street, Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec, J7V 5V5
