Turmeric is among the cornerstone botanicals in Ayurvedic medicine. Curcumin is the principal active ingredient found in turmeric root; it’s a potent antioxidant and the subject of extensive scientific research. New Roots Herbal’s Curcumin is standardized to contain 95% curcuminoids, the marker compound recognized in herbal medicine to help relieve joint inflammation.
Each capsule contains 500 mg of curcumin extract formulated with 5 mg of black pepper extract standardized to 95% piperine, the critical compound recognised to amplify the bioavailability of curcumin up to 2000%.
Directions of Use
Adults: Take 1–3 capsules daily or as directed by your health-care practitioner. Joint inflammation: Take 1 capsule three times daily or as directed by your health-care practitioner.
Duration of use: Consult a health-care practitioner for use beyond 6 weeks.
Warnings
Contains no: Gluten, soy, wheat, corn, eggs, dairy, yeast, citrus, preservatives, artificial flavour or colour, starch, or sugar.
Cautions and warnings: Ask a health-care practitioner before use if you are pregnant or breast-feeding; if you have a liver or biliary disorder; if you are taking medications including blood thinners; or if you are taking medications or any other health products, as black pepper/piperine may alter their effectiveness. Stop use and ask a health-care practitioner if you experience any new symptoms including yellowing of the eyes or skin, dark urine, nausea, vomiting, or stomach pain. Ask a health-care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen.
