My family and I love your products, they mean the world to us, we all take your Acidophilus Ultra and my husband can’t live without your Prostate Perform, which has really helped out with his prostate problems.

What I don’t understand is why your products are never featured in any product awards. With products this solid you’d definitely get my vote!

Hey Bridgette thanks for writing.

Thank you for your support. Keep in mind that at face value the product competitions you mention are for profit businesses. The award program will give the impression that it is independent, legitimate, and scientifically objective and viable.

These “award” companies actually solicit companies to buy their 10 star platinum, gold, silver or bronze awards. Some vitamin companies invent their own institutes, foundations, review quarterlies, mathematical models of perfection, etc to further give the impression that they are objective and independent. In reality, these are more covert ways to market their products.

These competitions are not backed by an impartial authoritative panel which determines the winners, or an impartial qualification system. Neither exists.

They will also showcase scientists and doctors, with photos, CVs credentials etc are part of the team that did the review. There are many different award programs, all highly suspect claiming #1, platinum, gold, silver etc. This is just more marketing smoke and mirrors.

For that reason we do not enter these competitions. Much like a beauty contest, which bases itself on superficial traits and back room wheeling and dealing, we feel these product competitions are only another marketing venue.

Bridgette, another piece of information you may not be aware of: New Roots Herbal has never and will never pay a sales commission to the sales staff in retail stores to sell our products to a customer. Other companies do, it is called SPIFF (Sales Performance Incentive Funding Formula). The sales staff receive anything from 50¢ to $2.50 per item sold to a customer directly from the company whose product they have sold.

New Roots Herbal feels wheeling & dealing with people’s health is ethically unacceptable. If any sales staff recommends New Roots Herbal, it is because they know of its high quality and because the products are effective.
